finally.....

going to go for it! I have had a lot more interest in my photography lately. Several people have requested information and have even scheduled portfolio building sessions once the weather gets a little warmer.

I was fine with the "logo" I had come up with for the time being, especially since I didn't want to pay for a new logo to be designed (at least $150). Last weekend, I came acrossed someone on the 2peas photography forum who was designing logos.....for FREE!!! She was really talented so I thought I'd e-mail her and see what she could come up with. I sent her an e-mail and told her my "business name" and the color schemes I was interested in. I also told her who my target group was and my "style". the first logo she came up with was beautiful, but is was not me at all. So I e-mailed her back and told her that it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I had seen a few logos that I really liked some of the design elements of and sent her links ans explained what I liked about each of them, The next morning, she send me this, my new logo:

EVERYTHING about this logo is perfect. The colors, the style, it's so me. I've already created my new model release form with it and have started on my brochure (which I'm having printed through vistaprint.com - for FREE). Now I just need to get my business card, reminder postcard, thank you card, letterhead, welcome letter, logo sticker and address label designed!!! Most of those items will also be printed, for FREE, through vistaprint.com as well. I just have to pay the shipping, which is very reasonable!!!

I plan on trying to get a lot of my stuff created over the next few weeks and will try to post the PDFs here as soon as I can.
