It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas | COLUMBUS OHIO PHOTOGRAPHER

My husband HATES winter, yet his favorite time of the year is Christmas. The first few years of our marriage we would decorate on thanksgiving or even the day after, yet as we began to collect more decor we slowly started decorating earlier and earlier. This year was probably the earliest we've ever had the decor up but I love it.

I found a lot of really awesome ideas on pinterest and was really excited when he said that he wanted to make some of them! After a quick trip to Hobby Lobby I was ready to add a little creativity to our decor!

Found these adorable burlap bows at Target, in the dollar spot! The red chevron burlap is from Hobby Lobby.

We have these little trees next to our fire place and we just couldn't figure out what they needed. Took some little burlap pieces and tied them onto twine to create a little rustic garland. It's so pretty on the trees!

I love the wreath my friend, Marcia, created for me but really wanted a christmas one. So, I bought 2 yards of red burlap and cup it into strips approx, 5-6" wide. Used some of the chevron burlap to create a bow.

This evergreen garland sits on our mantle, I love it but knew it just needed something. I added little pops of the red chevron and it looks complete now!

I LOVE our Christmas tree and decor. But, I really wanted to try putting the red burlap ribbon around the tree - I didn't even realize how big of a difference it would make, it's perfect now!

I just LOVE how everything looks together!
