My amazing friend, Kristin (who was a pro photographer but just shoots for fun now), was asked to take photographs of the staff and their families for our Church's new website. I was so excited - but then I started to stress. I was going to be IN THE PICTURES! Pictures that would be on the website, for everyone to see.
I knew what direction I wanted to go with our clothes, but I had to make sure EVERYONE was happy with the clothes we picked out. We spent FOREVER shopping and planning and trying to decide on what to wear.
It has however made me rethink how I help my clients with planning their sessions. One resource that was priceless to me was PINTEREST! I was able to search the color combos that I was wanting to use to get inspiration as well as see what direction to go as far as casual ot dressy.

For me, the details are what really make planning family portraits fun! I decided that I wanted to make E a headband that would help pull al of out outfits together. I just love how it turned out!
These are some of the other fun elements from out session - nothing better than pretty jewelry, bows and sequins to make for an AWESOME session!!!
